I'm currently working on a commissioned portrait of 2 little girls and the grandmother they never had the chance to meet. I'll be sharing that here after it's been gifted. There's a party scheduled tonight for the recipient of my last portrait, so hopefully I'll be able to share that here soon.

Petite Peacock Painting

I picked up this proud little peacock from the coffee shop yesterday to list in my Etsy shop. I like to offer these 4x4 minis as an affordable alternative to larger pieces. Plus they're just fun to do.You can find this one here .

I don't do many shows or markets. In the past, they just haven't been very beneficial for business. But this... this is at the local mom & pop store about 3 minutes away from my house. I can't resist something that will bring exposure as well as benefit my community. So on Saturday, March 9th (and every 2nd and 4th Saturday of the months following), I'll be hanging out at McDaniel's General Merchandise for McHenry Market! I'm looking forward to

Green Apple

This was the result of day 49 of my daily painting challenge. I really like the texture on the canvas. It helped give a pleasantly unexpected result. It's listed on Etsy here .
